Daveren Keeshonden and German Pinschers is located at the foot of the Sandia Mountains in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. I keep a limited number of dogs so that I can give proper attention to each of them. Both GPs and Kees enjoy the company of their human family and do not thrive in a kennel situation with no or little human contact. All my dogs live in the house with me. I only breed if I plan on keeping or co-owning something out of the litter. I only breed dogs that are healthy (mind and body) and are good representations of their breed. I enjoy weekends traveling to AKC dog shows and exhibiting my dogs in the conformation ring. I also enjoy hiking and walking with the dogs on a daily basis. Daily exercise keeps the dogs (and me!) in good shape!

I have loved and had dogs all of my life. In 1995 while attending college to attain a degree in Animal Science, I was introduced to the dog show world and have been hooked ever since. My focus in breeding is to have superior show dogs, but more importantly to have dogs with superior health & temperament. Often times in the show world compromises are made to achieve the next great show dog. I vowed from day one that I would focus on health & temperament, & always maintain my dogs as pets and members of my family. Although a few of my dogs go to loving show homes, 90% of my puppies go to loving homes where they are cherished family members & will never be shown. These people want a pretty dog, but most importantly want a dog with a great personality and excellent health. So as you browse my site you will see beautiful dogs that have completed Championships very easily, but also dogs that are health tested & are members of my family.

I am a member in good standing of the German Pinscher Club of America & Rocky Mountain Keeshond Club. I proudly abide by each of their Code of Ethics in my breeding program.
